At Lucky’s Surf Camp, you’re not just learning to surf – you’re learning with a team trained by Sri Lanka’s National Champion.
Through daily lessons, surf and wave theory and video analysis, you’ll develop your surf skills while enjoying the life in a vibrant surf community, Sri Lankan culture, and of course, the breathtaking waves.

SURF CAMP RUN BY A CHAMPION
Born and raised in Weligama, Lucky started surfing at the age of 11 and swiftly rose the top Sri Lanka’s athlete. With his natural talent and deep commitment to excel in surfing, Lucky won his first competition at the age of 16 and has since become a legend in Sri Lanka’s surfing.
To date, Lucky has won the majority of Sri Lanka´s surfing contests, holds National Surfing Champion title since 2019, is 3x winner of Red Bull Ride My Wave and represents Sri Lanka in international competitions.

Our Surf Camp is just 30 meters away from the ocean, right by the famous Weligama beach break. Imagine waking up to the sound of the waves and being in the water within a minute!
Our After Surf rooftop café is a cool hangout spot with unbeatable views of the surf and lineup.
For those who want to stretch out and find some balance, we have a dedicated rooftop yoga space. And for those working remotely, we’ve got community areas with high-speed Wi-Fi.

Our flexible Surf & Stay packages starting from just 3 nights include accommodation, surf lessons, video analysis and surf theory class with Lucky himself, and give you the freedom to check in and out on the dates that suit you best.
If you’re craving a more immersive experience, our Surf Retreat weeks run from Sunday to Sunday (next one coming up on April 13-20th 2025), offers a full week of surf, connection, and adventure, with a set schedule packed with video analysis, surf theory, and group activities to give you the test of Sri Lankan surf lifestyle.
