At Lucky’s Surf Camp, we believe that surfing and yoga are natural partners. Both ask you to be present, steady, and in tune—with your body, your breath, and the energy around you. Whether you’re paddling into waves or holding a gentle twist, these two practices bring balance and harmony to your surf journey.
That’s why we include daily yoga sessions as a complimentary part of your stay. Every afternoon, as the sun begins to set over Weligama Bay, we roll out our mats on our peaceful rooftop shala—a spacious, open-air setting designed for deep breaths and ocean views.
Each session is tailored to support surfers: loosen tight shoulders and hips, improve balance, flexibility, and body awareness, calm the nervous system after high-energy sessions and reduce soreness.
You don’t need to be “good” at yoga to join. Our instructor meets you where you are—whether you’re brand new or practice regularly. This isn’t about perfect poses—it’s about taking care of yourself, tuning in, and letting go.
