TERMS & CONDITIONS
These following booking terms & conditions become part of the travel package contract between you and Lucky’s Surf Camp (Private) Limited, “we”, “the company” or “us”.
1.RESERVATION AND PAYMENT
You’re making a reservation by paying a deposit for one of our packages on our website www.luckyssurfcamp.com or via bank transfer. Once the deposit is made, the surf camp participant then receives a reservation confirmation.
To make the booking, the payment of a deposit of 30% to 100% is required, depending on when you book:
- 30% deposit is required when you book 22 days or more in advance of arrival date;
- 50% deposit is required when you book within 21 to 15 days prior the arrival date.
- Full payment is required for last minute bookings, within 14 days of the arrival date.
Final balance payment is due on arrival at Lucky’s Surf Camp. Payments should be made via our website, or Bank transfer before arrival, and on arrival only by cash (USD, LKR, EUR) or Credit Card (a 3% fee applies).
We reserve the right to cancel and/or take another booking by releasing your spot for others to book (unless otherwise agreed) if the remaining balance isn’t paid on arrival date to the camp. You will not be able to rebook or modify. Your original deposit payment can’t be used as credit for a future reservation as it will be forfeited and non-refundable.
All prices are in Euro (€). Credit/debit card charges will be made in Sri Lankan rupees (LKR), which will be calculated in accordance to the exchange rate of the day and will be subject to 3% bank fee.
2. BOOKING MODIFICATIONS
We want to be as flexible as we possible and always offer a free date change up to 4 weeks (29 days) prior to check in, pending availability. Additional charges may apply, if you’re changing dates to peak season. Free date change must be requested by email no later than 4 weeks prior to check-in. Should you wish to change your dates more than once or within the 28 days of your arrival date, following charges apply per person:
- EUR 50 per person, for every date change made 28-15 days prior to arrival date.
- EUR 150 for person, for every date changes made within 14 – 1 days of your arrival date.
- Date change is not possible for no shows.
3. CANCELLATIONS & REFUND POLICY
Guests may cancel their booking 28 days before the date of their stay and receive full deposit refund. No deposit refund for cancellations made within the 28 days of your arrival date or for no shows. A booking cannot be officially canceled until a written notice is received by us via email. The date we received the written cancellation is when the cancellation policy is effective.
Refunds are not issued due to reasons outside our control such as poor weather, you missing your flight, or any other similar reason (we strongly advise to have a travel insurance that covers such circumstances).
4. PREREQUISITE FOR PARTICIPATION
The participant explicitly declares that there are no medical reservations as far as his/her active surfing / yoga is concerned. Participants must be at least 18 years old.
5. TRANSFER TO/FROM AIRPORT ARRANGEMENTS
Transfers from/to the airport can only be organized once the flight details (flight number, flight arrival time, airline) are sent to our reservations team at least 48 hours before arrival.
6. Inclusions and Exclusions
he package you’ve selected includes everything outlined on our website under the specific package details. Please refer to https://luckyssurfcamp.com/packages for the complete list of inclusions.
The following are not included in your package: flights to and from Sri Lanka, visa costs, airport transfers (we’re happy to help arrange this for you), 7 lunches and 5 dinners, beverages from our rooftop café (except during breakfast), surfboards and transportation for surf sessions on your own, additional surf or yoga lessons, additional excursions and activities, private photo packages, tips to our instructors and Lucky’s Surf Camp Team.
MEALS AND BEVERAGES
Guests staying at Lucky’s Surf Camp as part of a package are entitled to one dish per meal during breakfasts and dinners, and one drink during breakfast. Additional dishes, snacks, or beverages outside this allocation will be charged separately on the spot.
We kindly ask all guests to inform us of any dietary requirements or allergies at least 7 days before arrival to ensure we can accommodate your needs. While we strive to cater to all preferences, last-minute requests may not be guaranteed.
7. MISSED OR CANCELLED ACTIVITIES
We are unable to give any discount or refunds if you miss any activities during your stay and/or when you decide to check in late or check out early.
Please note that our yoga sessions are held in an open-air rooftop space, allowing guests to enjoy the natural surroundings. In the event of rain, yoga classes may be canceled as we are unable to move them indoors or reschedule to a morning slot due to other scheduled activities, including surf lessons, video analysis, and theory sessions. As a gesture of goodwill, guests affected by a canceled yoga session will receive a complimentary drink of their choice from our rooftop café.
We appreciate your understanding and flexibility as we prioritize your comfort and safety during your stay.
8. TRAVEL AND CANCELLATION INSURANCE
To participate in Lucky’s Surf Camp, the participant must have a full valid travel insurance, including covering extreme sports (including surfing). We accepts no responsibility for loss, theft or damage to person or their property during their stay. We will not issue any refunds that are caused due to delay, visa refusal, entry refusal, flight cancellations, war, natural disaster, injuries, Covid-19 or death of 2nd or 3rd degree family, relatives, friends, and any other reason outside of Lucky’s Surf Camp control. We also recommend that you purchase flight tickets with flexible booking terms.
9. LIABILITY
We recommend a private health, and baggage/surf board insurance for the full period of your travel. The organiser’s equipment and vehicles should be treated in due form. The participant shall be liable for damages in the case of negligent or wilful damage or loss. All surf board damages are estimated by the surf camp and will have to be covered by participant.
Smoking in any of the rooms is an immediate fine of EUR 500.
